So about 6 months ago I get a call asking me if we would mind if Matthew was in a promotional video about learning to play golf. I said I didn’t mind, if Matt wanted to, of course he did. Enjoy. (Matt time slots 1:04 and 4:06)
Matthew got a push cart today and was busy checking out all the features and took a few silly pictures.
We were steadily running out of space for his ribbons and trophies (this is only his first full year of competitive golf) So we had to get creative.
Matthew had his second visit to MK Golf today, some of his new clubs are in and the fitting continues. Mark made some measurements and took some notes. Matthew hit some of the new clubs and was excited about his new driver.
Up until this point in Matthew’s golfing, he has had off the rack, US Kids and Custom online clubs. Each step in that path created a tighter link between club and his swing. We were planning to have Matthew play in the USKids 9 hole events and the STPGA 5 hole events this fall and make the full 9 hole conversion in January. In fact I had already signed him up for those events. I just received an email from the STPGA Junior Director in regards to his […]
Matthew participated in the local Golf camp and had a great time.
Matt unfortunately got the flexibility genes from his father, thus despite being in very good shape he is tight as a drum. 7 years old and can’t touch his toes. He will have to fight this his entire life.
Registration Completed. Hopefully Matt can improve on his showing last year. 6/11/14 at San Pedro.
Matt lost the chipping and the putting contest to Sayers, so he decided to race her to save some face. Little does he know that, she has her own agenda.
Matt’s swing is coming along nicely.
