Matthew hit some balls today and did some putting drills. He hooked up with Skyler for a 9 hole putting contest, loser does push ups. He lost by 2 :/
Being Easter weekend, there are no tournaments on the books, so back to our normal Saturday routine of short game practice. Matt hit the arc and 5 foot puts then proceeded to do 10 foot drills around the hole.

An unusual off day on the weekend. Went and practiced putting for about an hour. Matthew working on his tempo and keeping the shoulders moving. Lag putts from 30 feet.
Matt headed out at Republic Golf Course today with his coach for a couple of holes. Just a quick couple of holes where he as +1 and played pretty good.

Matthew had his weekly lesson scheduled but was not able to complete. So we worked on some distance control shots until it was dark.
Matt continuing to work on his short game, had some trouble focusing this morning and had to remind him what he was doing there and why he was doing it. He settled down and got his work in.

Matthew working on the issues that plagued him during the tournament yesterday. He was taking his hands a bit inside, his coach working on them going back down the line a bit more and him using his chest more effectively. Was a quiet Sunday evening on the range, good time to get some work in.

A couple of days after the big regional tournament we were back in Orlando and needed to practice. What better way than to get some short game work in than CONGO RIVER GOLF!! The crew had a great time with Vanessa taking 1st place.

Coach Martin found the issues with Matt’s swing from the STPGA Championships and went to work correcting it the day after. Matt has a regional U.S. Kids tournament in Palm Beach next week. Trying to tighten it up before hand. Coach will see him again tomorrow. Matthew worked hard on the process.
